The Centre-Based Respite Care service aims to provide family members of the elderly with care needs, the opportunity to take time off from their caregiving duties for self-care or
to engage in other life roles and responsibilities.
This service is ideal for family caregivers who are working or very busy on weekends, or whose domestic helper is on leave.
Active Global offers this service both on one-time and recurring basis.
This service is available on Saturdays and Sundays, all year-round.
Transportation is available for those located within a 4 km radius from each of our centres.
The core of the respite programme is to provide service to those needing assistance in their basic needs such as feeding, toileting and in
mobility, as well as supervision for those who may need it on a regular basis.

Prepare the following documents

A copy of your loved one’s NRIC
A copy of your (the main caregiver’s) NRIC
Latest medical records of your loved one, such a hospital discharge summary (if available). The medical records ideally should not be older than 1 year from your application to the service.

Call us at 6536 0086 and request for the Week-End Respite Service. We will need at least 2 workings days' notice before starting the service.
